Follow the step by step directions below to create your registry.  It isn't difficult or lengthy but we have shown you each minute step in the process.  Of course, send us an email if you get confused.

Step 1:  To set up your gift registry start by logging into your account.  Choose the "my account" link on the far right under the PinStripes and PolkaDots LLC logo.

Step 2: Log into your account using your email address and password. If you haven't set up an account yet just enter your email address and choose the "No, I want to create a new account" option it will guide you through setting up an account.  After, creating an account start back at step 1.

Step 3: Choose "Manage Gift Registries" from your Account Menu.

Step 4: Choose the "Create New Registry" button.

Step 5: Fill out the Create New Gift Registry form and then select "continue". 

Event Type: Baby Shower, New Baby, Birthday, Christmas, Etc.

Event Name: Smith Baby, Juliett's first birthday, etc.

Event Date: Unfortunately, the cart requires an actual date.  I don't believe in "due dates" myself but that may be a good option to use or the date the shower, party, etc.

Preferred delivery:  If you only want items shipped directly to you, then choose "My Shipping Address"  and select the address or add the address you want this will show up in the cart as "Registrant's preferred location." If the buyer may want to ship the gift to you or to themselves to deliver in person, then please choose the option "Customer's address." Customer's address will let the buyer choose your address, their own billing address or enter a new shipping address.

Other Options: Hide event would be used only if you were using an online invitation and could let people have a direct link.  This is often not used.

Realize if you hide gift registry recipient's shipping address that they will not be able to ship directly to you.  This choice should never be chosen with the "My Shipping Address" option above.  If so, the buyer will have no choice given for shipping.

Notify of new orders and include gift certificates are both standardly chosen.

Be sure that you choose Active, so that your registry can be viewed by others.

Step 6: The "Manage Gift Registries"  will appear with your Name, Date and such.  Notice the items is 0(0).  To add items to your registry choose the "Add Products" link.

Step 7: The stores home page will appear and you just start "shopping".  Add products into your shopping cart as if you are shopping. Just add to the shopping cart.  You will not want to add to a wishlist.

Step 8: Are you done finding products for baby? View your shopping cart and choose the "Add to Registry" button located just below the "Checkout" button.

Step 9: After choosing the "Add to Registry" button this screen will appear.  Choose your registry by name from the "Select a gift registry" drop down menu.  Then press the "Continue" button.

Step 10: Now you should able to view your registry.  This screen will also provide you with a direct link to include with online shower invitations.  If you are mailing out invitations, and want to have cards to include to let people know you are registered at PinStripes and PolkaDots please send me an email and let me know how many cards you will need.

Oops: You have followed the instructions but no items seem to be listed in your registry.  My best guess is the items were added to your wish list instead of your registry.  To correct this, go to your account page, by clicking "my account" top right of screen.  Choose "View saved items." If all your items are in your wish list then add all items shown to cart.  Then choose the "add to registry" option at located below the checkout button at the end of your item list.
