The BumGenius diaper has an easily adjustable waist with overlapping tabs so it can fit as snug as it needs to. We have found the weight range to be right on. If your baby seems to have a short or long rise be sure to check out those measurements. The short rise length is with the diaper laid flat (not stretched out at all).
