A pull-on training pant with the stretchiest sides that make it easy for a young toddler to pull down all by ones self. Trainers. The Antsy Pants will give you a pull-up option that you don't have to pay for month after month with no end in sight. The Antsy Pants cloth training pants will allow your child learn independent skills for potty training. They will learn to pull the trainer up and down and they will learn to identify the need to potty by feeling the wetness of an accident. Antsy Pants for use as a Pull-on Diaper: If you think potty training is in your near future and but you still need diapers for a short time, Antsy Pants can allow you to add a bit of absorbency for use as a Pull-On Diaper. The trainer could be put on more like a traditional diaper, however many toddlers like being able to put on their diaper without laying down. In case of accidents, unsnap the sides and remove easily. When adding absorbency choose a narrow doubler or insert like the Swaddlebees Doubler or the BabyKicks Hemparoo Doubler. Antsy Pants for use Overnight: As the parent you can add absorbency to the trainer to meet your child's needs. We recommend using the BabyKicks Hemparoo Doublers when adding absorbency. The BabyKicks are narrow enough to fit within the trainer. A pocket in the front and back can be used for adding the doubler to the diaper. For young children already using cloth diapers using a diaper overnight is generally not a problem. If making the switch to cloth and with use on older children still having accidents, a good fit will be important for a leakproof result. The rise measurement or height of the trainer is really important. If the trainer is too long for your child it will sag and allow for leakage out the legs when laying down. Antsy Pants as a choice when switching to cloth diapering: The average age of potty training is between 18-60 months with the average being 30 months. Realize that only 10% of children are potty training are potty trained by 18 months. Crazily enough, the percentage of babies not using a single-use disposable diaper in the US would also be 10%. Antsy Pants Sizing:
For easiest selection of the correct size Antsy Pants™ for your child, they are paired with the infant and toddler clothing sizes that correspond to each. Because of Antsy Pants'™ unique patent-pending stretch side panels, each size will continue to fit longer than one single size of children's clothing. When deciding on the correct size, you will want to take into account whether your child is close to moving out of the size range, such as, is your child currently wearing size 2T pants that fit perfectly and 3T that have too-long pant legs but the waist fits fine? You can probably go with size 2T. If you are almost ready to put the 2T sized pants up in the attic, then go with the 4T size as long as your child's 3T pants are not loose in the waist.
1T size fits children who wear size 9mo clothing through 18mo clothing. The relaxed waist measurement is 14" and stretches to 21". The relaxed rise along the side of the diaper is approximately 12 3/8".
2T size fits children who wear size 18mo, 2T and 3T clothing. The relaxed waist measurement is 16" and stretches to 24". The relaxed rise along the side of the diaper is approximately 13 3/8".

If you are still unsure about the correct size of Antsy Pants™ to purchase for your child, taking a few of your child's measurements would be the next step. The three measurements you need are waist circumference, hip circumference and rise length.
The easiest way to be sure you get these two measurements in the right spot is to tie a ribbon or string around your child’s waist and use it as a guide for both measurements.
Waist Circumference - Your child's waist circumference should be at least the same as the relaxed waist measurement of the trainer. Waist circumference is measured around your child’s torso at the natural waist. This should be lower in the front (below the tummy) and higher in the back (at the small of the back). Hip Circumference - Your child's hip circumference must be smaller than the maximum waist circumference of the trainer. It's Good To Have a Waist - Near the small end of each waist size range, Antsy Pants™ will stay in place much better if your child's hip circumference is larger than her waist. Rise Length - Your child's rise measurement should be a minimum of the listed rise measurement for the trainer. Your child's rise measurement may be up to 1 1/2" longer and still fit. So for the size 1T the child's rise would need to be no shorter than 12 3/8" but could be up to almost 14". Rise length is measured between the center front and center back points of the above waist circumference, passing between the legs and flat to the skin at the point where the leg joins the torso. For the most accurate fit possible, sizing suggestions for this brand reflect this measurement taken without a diaper or other clothing on. Primary Use - Will your child wear Antsy Pants™ for day only, mostly stuffed for night or both? If it looks like your child could wear two different sizes and you will often use them for night, we suggest the larger size. If your child's measurements fit only one size then choose that size for both day and night usage.
